Ali Ibn Hamzeh Bridge was built during Zand period.
It is located in Shiraz on Hafez Street.
This bridge is in 5 kilometers from the Koran gate.
It is located between the tomb of Imamzadeh Ali bin Hamzeh and Vakil al-Raaya bazzar. This historical bridge is located on the dry river.
This bridge was built on the “Dry” river of Shiraz during the reign of Al Boyeh and was restored sometimes, and finally it was restored and renovated during Karim Khan Zand dynasty in 1185 AH.
There is a mausoleum of Imamzadeh Ali bin Hamzah next to this bridge.
Hazrat Ali Ibn Hamza (peace be upon him), who is buried in Shiraz, was the grandson of Imam Musa Kazem (peace be upon him),
His tomb is located on Hafez street and near the dry river and also near Ali bin Hamzah bridge that’s why this bridge is called Ali ibn Hamzeh bridge.
