
Ardeshir Babkan Palace
It was built in 224 AD by the order of Ardeshir Babkan, the founder of the Sassanid Empire, in the 3rd century during the reign of Ordvan V, the last Parthian king.
This Palace is one of the historical attractions which is located near Firozabad in Fars province, on a mountain near Dokhtar Castle.

This palace is located next to the “Fire Temple”,
that’swhy it is also called Fire Temple of Firozabad.
This structure consists of three domes and some halls.
This plalace was designed to display the royal image of Ardeshir Babakan.
There are three—large rooms, large courtyard, some residential rooms behind the northeast porch.
Its walls were decorated with stucco, which was inspired by the architecture of Persepolis.
There is a spring on the northern side of this palace.
