
Mirza Mohammad Nasir al-Hosseini also known “Mirza Agha” or “Forsat”
was born in Shiraz.
He was the son of Mirza Jafar.
He learned some sciences such as jurisprudence, principles, theology, philosophy, logic, poetry, and painting, Pahlavi language, English, cuneiform and the science of hadith, etching.
He was a poet, writer, painter, traveler, musician and writer.
He trained some students such as Rokhsat al-Doulah, his brother, and Sadr al-Din Shaisteh Shirazi.
He wrote some books such as Bahur al-alHan, Asar Ajam, Diwan of poems
Darya Kabir( the great sea), Ashkal al-Misan, Shatranjeh, Masnavi of Hajvnameh, Scientific and political articles….
Forsat al-Dawlah passed away in 1339 AH. in Shiraz and was buried next to Hafez’s tomb.
